Subject: Museveni Is A War Criminal
Comment: Thanks for the good work. Yoweri Museveni is a war criminal and his allies in Washington are not any better. I'm hoping that Obama's Administration can call a spade a spade and turn the heat on these Ugandan thugs. We cannot tolerate the politics of cronyism in Uganda. This is a regime that has set its sight on robbing and looting the Ugandan Treasury dry. What do the citizens get in return? Intimidation, corruption and in many cases death for speaking out. Perhaps Museveni knows that the only people who have the guts to stand up to him and tell him he's a war criminal are the Acholis. That's why he's been systematically punishing the region using various techniques ranging from cattle rustling to outright acts of violence like in Bur Choro and cutting off people's lips and women's breasts. We shall not rest till we liberate Uganda. Keep up the good work.

Subject: How Uganda Was Destroyed
Comment: After reading the Black Star's item on "Let the Enemies of Africa be Aware", I have come to the conclusion that Museveni is the end of 20th and the 21st century's mega wizard. He has hypnotized or bewitched the West, especially the United States and Great Britain, such that they are unable to see his blood-soaked hands.
Whoever greets the bloody soaked, crooked hand is morally and ethically paralyzed. From Roland Reagan (RIP), Bush Senior, Clinton I & II, to GW Bush Jr. I & II, they were all stupefied into supplying the wizard with finances and weapons of mass destruction to butcher Ugandans and neighboring countries citizens by the millions.
And from the Queen of England and all her Prime Ministers: Margaret Thatcher, John Major, Tony Blair to now Gordon Brown have all greeted the fiendish bloody hands to the chagrin of the Great Lakes Region. I strongly recommend that President Elect, Barack Obama, MUST NEITHER invite Museveni to the White House at his inauguration on the 20th January 2009, MUST NOT shake the wicked, bloody crooked hand, nor come to Uganda when Museveni is still in office; less he becomes an accomplice to the blood-letting and corruption in Uganda and the Great Lakes Region.
Museveni is a man who has not concealed his crime against humanity, but for some strange reason even the most intelligent world leaders have continued to embrace him like an angel! In 1987 he gloated to the Daily Nation about massacring Acholis at Corner Kilak, "we massacred them". Just recently he categorically confessed that he shed thousands of Ugandans' blood (Daily Monitor 26th November 2008).

Besides, although his lies are so naked and revolting Professors in his government continue to lick his nether regions and boots. For example the thuggery on NSSF funds is revolting but our politicians accepted it as something inconsequential!
After the NSSF-Temangalo scandal enquiry collapsed and the culprits: Mbabazi, Suruma, Gamuuwa and other NSSF officials were left scot-free; I also came to the conclusion that most, if not, all the NRM members of parliament, even those with some semblance of independence (so-called "rebel MPs") are just palace (State House) eunuchs. This is because as soon as President Museveni marched them into the State House, Entebbe and lectured them to let Mbabazi and Suruma off the hook, Gen Muhwezi, Hon Banyezaki, and Ssekikubo voices and zeal evaporated.
For heaven's sake, it is humiliating that the whole country is being held and ransom by a few thugs. Under this government there is no crime worth punishing. For a whole month our parliament went on a wild goose chase and millions of taxpayers' money was blown; but only to be told by none other than the Attorney General, a whole Dr Makubuya via the Speaker of Parliament that their investigation was null and void. Even then, one would have expected some outrage from the workers, but they are also mum and dumb.
Since the workers are also dumb, the NRM state apparatchik like Mbabazi, Suruma, Kagina and their puppet bourgeoisies like Mr. Nzeyi, Haj Bassajjabalaba, Moses Kigongo, etc; will continue to have access to their savings and blow it left, right and center through the NSSF officials. At the end there will be nothing to claim after retirement or termination of work.

Comment: This is what I call, a proper hard hitting piece of writing about Museveni, who came barefooted across Katuna Customs Border Post several years ago with the Mother. Did you know that? On arrival at Ntunghamo, the centre, where Rwandese Tutsi had camped for employment in the Banana Plantations of the Omukama/Omugabe of Ankole's Kingdom, the Guy found his age groups in the areas, the likes of Eriya Kateggaya and Kaijuka, were already going to schools with shoes on. He envied them, and spoke about it, when he made a long through journey by way of Milton Obote's UPC Party as a mistaken Youth Winger, without any of his ancestors' bones being buried anywhere in the Bahima Region!? The Ankole Kingdom has not been restored, because Prince John Barrigye, would be more Powerful than the labourer, and the situation of Honour and Respect would be the other way around. Museveni bowing down to King Barrigye!!!? Ah ha ah ah ah ah ah... Amen.
The Guy has had desire for Power through hooks and crooks. Seeing blood is not his problem. As long as he is in Power and continues to shiphon out the huge resources, which have been at his disposal with his Chief of Military Intelligence, Paul Kagame now President of Rwanda!!! Is or are certain things not very wrong somwhere? You have just pulled the whole piece out of the pot as Obama did with VP Biden, and now Hillary Clinton as Secretary of State! I reckon after Obama's Second Term, Hillary Clinton will clinch being the first woman President against Laura Bush and if not Sara Palin!?
Back on the atrocities of Museveni, indeed I am beginning to believe in Kony's refusal to share signatures with him, because Kony kind of knows the man he has been fighting all this time. Museveni does not speak any other language other than singing his own praises; how he fought in Mozambique, bla bla bla bla, Somalia, Congo, Rwanda against Habyalimanna, and the list of his conquests is endless.................................!!! Really? He was/is a coward, who used to be at the back during the war of Liberation against his friend Idi Amin in 1978/79.
He did not form FRONANSA, but wiped out the orginal members in Tanzania as Nyerere approved, on his way to becoming the Prersident of Uganda with the assistance of 10,000 TPDF officers under the guise of an imaginary forces known as FRONANSA, and do you recall the heaps of skulls that lined the road-sides between Kampala and Nakasongola, after he took power in 1986? They were victims of atrocities his maruding rag tag bare-footed army did and he shifted the blame en mess on Obote, as if he fought with grass and trees!
The Guy is a Blood Thirsty Maniac who has never stopped killing. He is the best candidate to go to the Hague before the ICC and not Joseph Kony.
Let us call the shots for a People's Movement for Change! Yes! We Can!!!!!!

Comment: Well, I liked the art and writing skills of the author but not the content. I have lived in Uganda all my life. I have studied political history of Africa and Uganda in particular. I am a great critic of President Museveni and his policies. I have previously written articles condemning his war policies in Congo, and Northern Uganda. But this article portrays a different picture. A tleast it is common knowledge that the Lords Resistance Army has caused more atrocities in the North

With time, every big lie in the world is exposed.
So is it with the cover-up of genocide in East and Central Africa.
Only a fool could still deny that Uganda's dictator General Yoweri Kaguta Museveni is a genocidal killer of the first rank.
Indeed, he revealed his pathology long ago when he gloated in his thesis paper at the University of Dar Es Salaam that the path to power is to hold up the severed head of an enemy. Perhaps his supporters in Washington and London have not read Museveni's masterpiece. Yet, the thesis is available in libraries around the world; or maybe Museveni’s Western supporters share his philosophy.
After all, he was even more celebrated and lauded in the West after he told The Atlantic Monthly magazine, in an article by Bill Berkeley published in September 1994, that any African who was captured into slavery must have been stupid. Not surprisingly the headline of the article was "African Success Story."
Yet, even members of the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC), including Donald Payne, continue to sing Museveni’s praises. Readers should put in a call to any African American member of Congress whom they know and ask him or her about this calumny. In any case, Washington and London subsidize Uganda’s national budget at the rate of over 50% and equip and train its army, which has never defended Uganda against any foreign enemy invasion.
Instead, the national Army has killed its domestic citizens --more than one million in northern Uganda, primarily Acholis, with the assistance of its allies, the Lord's Resistance Army-- and it has invaded foreign countries.
In Rwanda, Congo, and the Sudan, Uganda's army has left a trail of blood and mountains of skulls: Uganda's 1990 invasion of Rwanda helped spark the genocide that claimed the lives of more than one million innocent Rwandese; in Congo more than five million died as a result of Uganda's invasion and occupation, as affirmed by the International Court of Justice (ICJ), which in 2005 ordered $10 billion in compensation.
The residual effect of the culture of genocide unleashed by Uganda continues in Congo, with new fighting in Eastern Congo carried out by Uganda's and Rwanda's acolyte, the terrorist Laurent Nkunda, whose chief of military staff has already been indicted by the International Criminal Court (ICC) in April 2008.
Maximum exposure must be applied to the Godfather of genocide in Africa, Yoweri Museveni, less the incoming Barack Obama Administration continues the policy of business as usual, trading five million Congolese lives for gold, diamond, timber and coltane.
Already the signs are not good: Hillary Clinton as Secretary of State will bring as shadow Secretary of State Bill Clinton. If any foreign player is as guilty as Museveni for the Rwanda and Congo genocide, then it is Bill Clinton.
As president, this American master charmer armed and equipped Uganda's army in the 1990s and his Administration trained in the United States the officers who led the invasion of Rwanda from Uganda, including Paul Kagame, who is today Rwanda's supremo.
This newspaper supported candidate Barack Obama from the very beginning. We condemned racist tactics against him by his political opponents when the so-called major media were pretending to be blind.
In fact, it was after The Washington Post referenced a Black Star News editorial defending Obama against racist attacks meant to undermine his candidacy that the so-called mainstream media joined the battle.
We shall not hesitate for a minute to call out the incoming Administration --and propaganda media such as The New York Times and BBC-- if the genocide against East and Central Africans is allowed to continue, using African traitors such as Museveni, merely so that Western corporations should continue to rape the resources of Africa. This is the time to defend Congo and the innocent in Uganda's Acholi region.
Let the enemies of Africa stand warned.
