1. 17th ANNUAL JOHN HENRIK CLARKE TRIBUTE

On Sunday July 26, 2015, at 3:00 PM, The Board For The Education of People of African Ancestry will pay tribute to Professor John Henrik Clarke durng the month of the 17th anniversary of his transition to Ancestor.

The event will be moderated by Brother Michael Bell and Sister Lenora Sharpe. Confirmed Participants include Brother Larry Hamm, Professors Leonard and Rosalind Jeffries, Dr. Adelaide L. Sanford, Sister Betty Dopson, Dr. Shadidi Kinsey, Brother D-Nubiyahn, DrAkil Khalfani, Assemblyman Charles Barron, Councilwoman Inez Barron, Brother Omowale Clay, and Dr. James McIntosh.

The event will be held at The Church of the Gethsemane at 1012 8th Avenue, Brooklyn NY 11215 which is pastored by Reverend Diane Lacey.

ADMISSION IS FREE. This program will begin at 3:00 Sharp because of time constraints and will end at 6:00 PM.

2. MILLION PEOPLE’S MARCH AGAINST POLICE BRUTALITY, RACIAL INJUSTICE, AND ECONOMIC INEQUALITY

SATURDAY July 25th

MEET AT CEMOTAP HEADQUARTERS AT 10:00 AM. WE WILL GO BY VAN  TO THE MILLION PEOPLE’S MARCH AGAINST POLICE BRUTALITY, RACIAL INJUSTICE, AND ECONOMIC INEQUALITY In Newark New Jersey  taking place at Noon. Saturday July 25, 2015. Lincoln Monument, Newark, New Jersey, (corners of Springfield Avene and West Market Street).

3. Play: “CLASS”

An argument between an African-American professor and her White male student takes a dangerous turn right into the heart of race relations.

WHERE: John Jay College’s Black Box Theater. 524 West “59” Street. B/T 10&11 Sts.

TIME: Light Reception at 6:30pm. Play at 7pm. Discussion to follow.

Request: $5 donation.
