Author and Professor of History Peniel E. Joseph will be in conversation with Esmeralda Simmons, Esq., and founder of the Center for Law and Social Justice, to discuss his latest book, Stokely: A Life. In the book, Joseph “captures the life of the man whose uncompromising vision defined political radicalism and provoked a national reckoning on race and democracy.”

Assemblyman Elect Charles Barron is the Respondent.
