Students Assembly To Hold Town Hall Meeting At SUNY Oswego

The Student Assembly of the State University of New York announced today that it will hold the next in a series of town hall meetings across the state at SUNY Oswego on November 7. The campus will host the event at 7:00 p.m. In Room 132 of the Marano Campus Center.

The town hall meeting is an opportunity for all SUNY students and alumni in the area to meet with the SUNYSA Executive Committee for a candid question and answer session. Those who are are not yet a SUNY student but are thinking about becoming one are also encouraged to attend as a great chance to learn about student government opportunities across SUNY campuses.

“The town hall meetings continue to be met with enthusiasm by our students,” said Lori Mould, president of the Student Assembly. “We are thrilled for the opportunity to meet face to face with our constituents and better represent them to the system, the state, and beyond.”

The last town hall meeting, hosted by SUNY Potsdam, was well attended and allowed for a productive arena to exchange ideas and information. All student leaders across the region are invited  to attend the Oswego Town Hall Meeting to share campus news, events, questions, concerns and ideas.

The Student Assembly of the State University of New York (SUNY SA) is an organization comprised of student leaders elected by their peers from across SUNY’s 64 campuses. Empowering students throughout the state, the SUNY SA is committed to student life and ensuring the representation of its members on the state and national level as well as throughout the SUNY system.
