Come to the College of New Rochelle’s School of Nursing Open House to learn about the new programs for adults seeking a RN to BSN or Master’s programs.

Meet with current students, members of the faculty, and administrators including the Dean of the School of Nursing. A financial aid representative will be on hand to answer questions.

The RN-BSN program enables students to develop their nursing careers. An earned BSN provides diverse opportunities for strengthening professional practice and serves as the foundation for advanced practice study.

Highlights of The College of New Rochelle’s RN to BSN Program:

· RN license validates 36 credits for transfer

· Two online courses available as part of the program

· Up to 90 credits can be transferred from other college work

· Classes meet only once per week

The School of Nursing, which educates both women and men, is widely recognized for its outstanding curriculum and quality education in both its undergraduate and graduate programs. The School offers a four-year BSN program, an accelerated program for RNs, or those with degrees in other fields seeking a BSN, as well as a graduate program for nurses seeking to advance their careers. Students gain strong clinical experience through the School’s collaborative relationships with over 100 of the most sophisticated healthcare institutions in the New York metropolitan area, including Memorial Sloan-Kettering Medical Center, Our Lady Mercy Medical Center, Visiting Nurse Association, Columbia Presbyterian Hospital, and Jack D. Weiler Hospital of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine.

The first Catholic college for women in New York State, The College of New Rochelle was founded in 1904 by the Ursuline Order.  Today, it comprises the all-women School of Arts & Sciences, and three schools which admit women and men: the School of New Resources (for adult learners), the School of Nursing and the Graduate School.  The main campus of the College is located in lower Westchester County, 16 miles north of New York City.  The College maintains five other New York City campus locations for the School of New Resources in the Bronx, Brooklyn, and Manhattan.
