Where She’s From: Gorgeous Anika was born in Westfield, New Jersey to a Belizean father and African American mother. People have told her that her looks caught people’s eyes from day one. “My parents taught me that anything worth having doesn’t come easy,â€? she tells The Black Star News.

“I started my modeling career when I was selected as model for a local calendar, then landed the lead role in Neo-Soul artist Raheem Devaughn’s video,� she recalls. She has also been featured on the Titanium Girls DVD Magazine in November.
 
She graced the cover of CD as model with Artist Garvey and K-Ruck and was on Extreme Beauty Summer 2006–Élan Extreme Magazine. She was also on the Lil Mo “Dem Boyz� video.
