Where She’s From: Cicely Parker was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. “My mom taught me independence and my family is really strong,” she tells The Black Star News. Cicely attended Choctaw High School and did not launch her career until she was 23 years old. “I always knew that modeling was what I wanted to do,” she says. “I would love to start a beauty industry business with perfume, makeup and hair care products.”

Where She’s At: “I have a two year old daughter,” Cicely says, when asked how she handles challenges. “She is a challenge—I conquer her with love,” she adds with a laugh.
 
 “Beauty isn’t everything, a brain is what’s going to get you places,” Cicely notes, referring to some of the lessons she’s learned in the industry.

So how does this young beauty prepare to step out?

“I love Carol’s Daughter. All recipes are 100% natural and healthy. My favorite perfume is Burberry and Chanel Chance; they smell so rich. I love all kinds of shoes.”
