Jamaican-born fashion designers, Jerome White and Deneisha Latoya put their collections on display this past week at the grand opening of their boutique, Mizchif New York.

From form fitting silhouettes to embroidered threads there was something for everyone. Deneisha Latoya is the female contemporary line and Mizchif Clothing is a more casual collection with a twist of urban chic for both male and female,” said Latoya.

White presented an array of classic blazers embroidered with florals’ in addition to lined button down shirts for everyday wear. Latoya showcased a collection of goddess dresses to innovative suit ensembles.

“My
husband and I have both a strong fashion background. My mother was a
seamstress and my husband’s brother was a tailor. Having an innate love
for fashion compelled us to create our own lines,” added Latoya.

Many of their items have been featured in various events including New York Fashion Week, Hype TV Awards, Brooklyn Fashion Weekend as well as boutiques across the globe.
