"I have been told ‘no’ so many times; had doors slammed in my face; but I kept on going and praying about it and realized that as long as I continue to work hard and striving for excellence, I will succeed in my goals.

[Our Model Of The Day]

Where She’s From:
Gabrielle Reynolds was raised in Dallas, the lovely city in the heart of Texas. “An important thing I learned from my parents is to always be kind to everyone and remain humble, no matter what level of success you reach,” she tells The Black Star News. “I also learned that having a great personality along with beauty is a rare and wonderful thing. Beauty stands out for the moment; but a great personality will last forever.”

Lovely Gabrielle attended Clark Atlanta University on a Track & Field scholarship and majored in English with a minor in education. “I first started my modeling career my junior year of college after I was scouted in an Atlanta mall by a talent scout,” she says. “I have accomplished so much in the three years I've been modeling and I’m really happy with where I’m at. I see my career going to new levels within the next couple of years; it has already opened so many other doors of opportunities that I hope to have a couple other things happening soon.”

Where She’s At:
“The challenges of being a professional model can be really hard to deal with,” Gabrielle notes, “I have been told ‘no’ so many times; had doors slammed in my face; but I kept on going and praying about it and realized that as long as I continue to work hard and striving for excellence, I will succeed in my goals.”

Her hard work has yielded scores. She was on the cover of The Beverly Hills Report Magazine, and other campaigns include Estee Lauder Promo, Quick & Simple Magazine Ad, Modern Salon Magazine Ad, and many more, in addition to playing a small role in the popular TV show Entourage. She’s been on a National Radio Shack Commercial, and has a
small role in the upcoming movie Alvin & The Chipmunks.

“Everyone loves to look at nice things, but when you can add brainpower to beauty it makes you that much more beautiful and you can take all your goals and aspirations to the next level,” Gabrielle says.

So how does this lovely lady prepare to step out?

“I love Guess and BEBE, their clothes are simple, yet they make a statement at the same time. I also love AVEDA products, their skincare line of cleansers and moisturizers is amazing, they also have great shampoo and conditioner for your hair,” she says. “I really like MAC makeup for photo shoots and going out, and Estee Lauder for everyday.”
