Already described as “the next Latin Urban Music sensation, beautiful Issa Bayaua’s album hits stores at the end of March. Her music is based on R&B grooves, and sensual, passionate vocals.

“My music combines sounds and images from my Latina and Filipina upbringing for a hot new sound that will sizzle and melt your mind, body and soul, she promises.

Issa’s very excited about a single which hits the airwaves in the next two weeks. “I am somewhat anxious but very excited,â€? she tells The Black Star News. “Just can’t wait to see what my fans think. Hopefully radio shows lots of love as this will be our big push towards my album release by the end of March.â€? The single is called “Let me be the One.â€? It is Issa’s upbeat version of an already great song.

As for the album itself, Issa has high expectations as she’s put in good work—the album sold well when she made it available on www.miss-issa.com and www.myspace.com/issabayaua. “I know people will really love this album, she adds. “I had nothing but love and support from the people that purchased it. That was the true test so I am very excited about it finally making it to stores.

Issa’s also gearing up for her upcoming tour with XM radio and dub magazine in March. “I love performing and I can’t wait for people to enjoy my style of music,â€? she says. “I feel very fortunate that people believe in me and have given me the opportunity to be where I am. It will be my chance to shine and say thank you.â€?

“I would like to thank Black Star News again for this interview and for allowing me to update my fans, Issa continues. “Thank you to all my fans on myspace because they are the ones that have given me such positive support and the drive to get where I am today.
