Where She’s From: Melissa Michaels was born in San Diego, California but has lived everywhere. 

She stands a statuesque 5-foot-10 and weighs 122 pounds. This super model material is an accomplished model, activist and social entrepreneur among many other talents. Melissa has appeared in magazines, videos, television shows, films and commercials, including with Rick Fox-the former NBA star of the LA Lakers and pro golfer Phil Mickelson.

Where She’s At: Melissa has appeared in the directorial debut of Academy Award winner, Denzel Washington’s movie, “Antwone Fisher.”  She’s an artist’s artist.  Her home is the theater where she has nurtured her voice, perfected dance and honed acting skills. 

Melissa was taught dance by the legendary choreographer, Jaime Rogers at the Beverly Hills Playhouse who starred in the culture phenomenon film, “West Side Story” and the executive producer of the television show, “Fame.” 

This creative genius belongs to the prestigious community of the International Society of Poets, Poetry Society of America and Academy of American Poets. Her writings have been published in several national publications and anthologized nine times.

Melissa volunteers her time and donates money to Performing Artists for Literacy in Schools (BookPALS), one of the fastest growing literacy programs in the country, is an all-volunteer program operating under the auspices of the Screen Actors Guild Foundation, the charitable, educational and humanitarian arm of the Screen Actors Guild.  She received honorable mention on The Wall of Tolerance in Montgomery, Alabama signed by the mother of the Civil Rights movement, Rosa Parks. Which is her most revered accomplishment.

She won the 2004 DIY Book Festival award for poetry winning over thousands nationwide. She is featured in Manchester’s Who’s Who Among Female Executives and Professionals, Metropolitan Who’s Who, 2005 Pulitzer nominee, received the San Diego Magazine’s 2006 Woman of the Year nomination and most recently featured in The International Who’s Who in Poetry. 

Melissa is a graduate of San Diego State University. INPELOTO is an acronym that Melissa Michaels created and can be found on Wikipedia – the online encyclopedia.  Inpeloto stands for INfinite, PEace, LOve, and TOgetherness. 

Melissa has taken her newly created acronym and developed a company that comprises volumes of her poetry, jewelry line called Inpeloto Bella-integrating her love of poetry into her designs.  Inpeloto, Inc. makes products with a conscience.  This brand is a voice to the world.

Inpeloto’s mission: To be world relevant through social transformation by implementing infinite peace, love and togetherness for daily existence of consciousness. She actively gives to various causes and is a role model.
