The 23 year-old self-professed tomboy continues to break new ground. In September 2004, encouraged by a New York publisher, Supriya entered and blew away other competitors in the Black Men’s Swimsuit Competition

Where She’s From: When a New York photographer was recently asked to describe the appeal and beauty of Supriya, he simply responded: “Provocative, sultry, soul baring eyes that leap off the page—and you can’t forget that body.�

The 5�10 French Creole, Creek Indian, and African American beauty, Supriya, has taken the modeling world by storm since 2004. Born in New Orleans, LA, and raised in the swampy bayous of LaPlace, LA, this bombshell has turned heads in the modeling and entertainment world. Born September 22, 1983, the 23 year-old self-professed tomboy continues to break new ground. In September 2004, encouraged by a New York publisher, Supriya entered and blew away other competitors in the Black Men’s Swimsuit Competition. A crowd favorite, Supriya won First place, and was featured in SSX Magazine in a 3-page spread with rapper The Game from G-Unit.  

Where She’s At: Supriya’s seemingly instant success has also surprised her—in a pleasant way. “I don’t think of myself as sexy,� she confides, even as admirers adore her physique. “As a kid I was always playing basketball, volleyball or fishing at home. I was in complete disbelief when I won that contest,� she adds, of the Swimsuit contest.

A former Catholic schoolgirl, Supriya takes much pride in her academic accomplishments. She attended Florida State University where she obtained a B.A. degree in International Relations, and later studied in Spain. She also attended the Columbia School of Broadcasting and launched her emerging career in Broadcast Journalism. “I am also well versed in areas of Sports Marketing and Communications,� adds this Louisiana beauty. She is well regarded in the industry due to her tireless work ethic in front of the camera. She’s worked with several photographers to create varied looks of sensuality, edge and fun. 

Where She’s Heading: Supriya’s modeling has been a major catalyst to her television career. She has worked as a segment host on 49ers All Access, in San Francisco, CA, and interviewed major celebrities including Dru Hill, on Baltimore, MD’s Bob Smoke TV. Fans eager to see her on video will have their prayers answered with the anticipated video release of “Tell Them What They Want to Hearâ€? by artist Rashaad. Supriya is featured opposite renowned rap artist T.I. and is sure to leave the music industry begging for more. She remains a featured model for Blackmen’s, SSX magazines and Hottie Magazine. She is a featured Titanium Girl—In January of 2007, the highly anticipated Titanium Girlz DVD will be released.
