Akinyi Vivian Achieng invites you to "Celebrating African Culture - Food, Music, Mix and Mingle event!"

Authentic East African food catered by Hostess/Chef Akinyi

Cater, Chef, Event planner at www.sherekea.com

Akinyi was born and raised in Kenya. She works in the hospitality industry and continues to promote African culture by hosting monthly events around New York.

Akinyi has worked for the finest chefs and restaurants in NYC, such as Le Bernadin (Chef Eric Ripert), Jean Georges (Chef Jean Georges), BR Guest Group and Wallse (Kurt Gutenbrunner). Working with such array of chefs and cuisines has inspired me to bring “The Taste of East Africa” to NYC.
