Bill Withers' remarkable artistry as a singer and songwriter has made a tremendous contribution to Black culture in the United States.

His poetic interpretation of our struggle and day to day experience transcends the narrow parameters set by the music industry. Sistas' Place is honored to salute our musical maestro, story teller, and genius.
