ZTourz will host a reception for the popular Namibian award-winning rhythm and blues singer, Floritha Fleermuys at Sistas’ Place on Friday July 18, 2014 at 6:30 PM. Sistas Place is located at 456 Nostrand Avenue, Brooklyn, New York.

Floritha came to the US to host her own concert in Washington DC, which was held on July 12 and has already begun to build a fan base here.  For the past two years Floritha has won the Namibia Annual Music Award for best R&B singer. She began singing in her school choir and in the African Methodist Episcopal church, Young People’s and Children’s Division.

Floritha's second album "Don’t Judge" is an inspirational album encouraging women’s empowerment and helping young women to stand up and fight for themselves. She also uses her music to advocate HIV/AIDS awareness and to encourage and strengthen those living with HIV/AIDS. To top it all off, Floritha is a law student at the University of Namibia.ZTourz, a micro-tourism project of the December 12th Movement, is current organizing a tour of Namibia and Zimbabwe scheduled for November 2014.
