Ugandans Launch London Venture

 A new Ugandan night club is being launched in London this week by BlackStar promotions with a
a special celebration event on November 24.

“This will be the first of many promotional ventures in the pipeline for BlackStar promotions, some of which include concerts in Uganda, the United Kingdom and the United States,” says Barbara Allimadi, BlackStar promotions managing director.

“In Uganda, the company is organizing the Northern Music Awards, which will be an award show for musicians from the northern part of Uganda, including traditional musicians, and also a Miss Gulu Beauty pageant,” she adds.

The new London-based Ugandan night is located at Dukes Bar, 18-22 Houndsditch, London EC3A 7DB – near Liverpool Street. The November 24 launch event is at 9 PM.

Ms. Allimadi, the managing director is based in both the UK and Uganda. “BlackStar promotions will grow to take on more ventures in the near future,” she adds.
