So what are your plans for Valentine’s Day? Are you doing the same old dinner and a movie? A sappy card and chocolates? Or maybe you’re doing nothing at all?  

Well couples spike up your romance and singles come get your groove back as Charlotte Small brings you a night of love and enchantment.  This soulful R&B mistress will be taking S.O.B’s by storm on February 14 at 9pm as she shares passionate selections from her debut album. “When It Was Music,â€? features renditions of classic love ballads such as “Who Can I Turn to,â€? by Dionne Warwick and “I’ll Never Stop Loving You,â€? by the Carpenters. She will reach the hearts of many so they feel encouraged, inspired and entertained.

This multi-talented songstress who was once told by her elementary school teacher that she had no musical talent and should quit, plays the piano and is an accomplished violinist who won the ACTSO competition sponsored by the NAACP. 

As a graduate from the Crane School of Music at Potsdam University, this thirty-something Long Islander went on to teach private violin, piano and voice lessons and served as a background vocalist  for artists such as Neil Diamond, Mona Lisa, Barbara Tucker and Ruff Endz. She held down a full-time job as a Operations Manager at Met Life while doing all this. When her office, located in one of the Twin Towers, was phased out after the terror attacks, she abruptly realized that “you have to follow your dreams and follow the things you believe in because tomorrow is not promised.â€? She adds: “I don’t know how long I have on this earth, I know God spared my life because I have something to say.â€? Now as President of her own record label, Midnite Enterprises, she and her brother, producer Gil Small are out to change the world.  “People go through so much difficulty every day-we need to be inspired and uplifted,â€? she says. Negative lyrics accepted within the music industry are “confusing children by sending out the wrong message,â€? she notes, adding “musicians can change that and that is what I want to do.â€?
