Queensborough Community Arts Ctr Featuring Three Mo’ Tenors

For one performance only the Three Mo’ Tenors will be bringing their repertoire of classical, jazz, R&B and blues to Queens.

Klausner is presenting the famed “Three Mo’ Tenors” at the
Queensborough Performing Arts Center, within the Queensborough Community
College, located at  222-05 56th Avenue, Bayside, NY 11364, on Sunday,
October 16, 2011 at 3:00 PM, for one performance only.

Produced by Willette Murphy Klausner and conceived,
choreographed and directed by Marion J. Caffey, “Three Mo’ Tenors” returns
to the New York area by popular demand.  The Three Mo’ Tenors is expected
to bring the house down with thrilling performances of opera, Broadway, jazz,
gospel, soul, spirituals and blues music. 
The show will begin with Verdi, and feature the music of Motown, Ray
Charles and Usher. Three Mo’ Tenors is an extraordinary musical event…all
music and all passion. 

The tenors have been captivating audiences and receiving
rave reviews around the globe since 2001, when the show was televised on “Great
Performances” by PBS.  RCA also released the recording of the show thereby
garnering standing ovations wherever Three Mo’ Tenors have appeared. 
Three Mo’ Tenors have played in Chicago, LA, Detroit, Toronto, Edmonton,
Canada, Henley-on-Thames, UK, Edinburgh, Scotland (The Edinburgh Festival
Fringe), Armenia and the U.S. State Department hosted them in Paraguay.

In 2007, the Three Mo’ Tenors completed a triumphant run
at the Little Shubert Theatre in New York City where it won the prestigious
Audelco award.  Critics such as Roma Torre from NY1, hailed the show as “A
joy ride” and Joe Dziemianowicz of the NY Daily News, called the show “Vocal
fireworks.”

“A Taste of Three Mo’ Tenors,” a live CD recorded in
Chicago at the Nederlander’s Oriental Theatre, is available on CD Baby,
Amazon.com and ITunes.

“Three Mo’ Tenors” tenth anniversary season will conclude
with a New Year’s Eve concert at Moscow’s famed International House of Music,
preceded by concerts at Fort Hays University in Fort Hays, Kansas; in San
Antonio, Texas at the Carver Community Center; and at Rose State University in Oklahoma
City, Oklahoma.

$35.00 mezzanine.  Tickets are now on
