November’s Africa Roundtable

Madi Ceesay, an independent journalist from The Gambia, and Jamal Amer, editor from Yemen are both honorees for their courage and tenacity at reporting the news at great personal risk and at great odds. Milton Allimadi, publisher of The Black Star News, will present the guest speakers.

They are this year’s winners of Press Freedom Award from the Committee to Protect Journalists. Members of the public can meet them both at an informal question-and-answer and reception on Monday, Nov. 13, from 6:30PM to 8:30PM at the GLOBAL INFORMATION NETWORK offices at 146 West 29th Street, Suite 7E, NYC.
