The next meeting of Indaba Africa Center is set for tomorrow – Oct. 13 – at 6:30 p.m.

Our guest speaker, Kambale Musavuli,  spokesperson for “Friends of the Congo,” will discuss his work organizing a U.S. student movement for human rights in the Congo. He has written for the Washington Post, Pambazuka News, Huffington Post and numerous other online publications, been interviewed on National Public Radio, Democracy Now, ABC News, Al Jazeera, Radio France International and has toured the U.S. speaking to university students, religious groups, elected officials, community organizers and others to generate support for the people of the Congo.
