Italian based designer Veronica Spadaro presents her Fall/Winter 2012 Collection during The New York Fame NYFW Event, “Fame Rocks Fashion Week” featuring established and emerging designers, on February 15 at
The Manhattan Center Studios, 311 West 34th Street, New York, NY 10001.
Veronica Spadaro will showcase her collection of custom made designs during this premier event. Spadaro is part of a line up of talented stand out designers, that include Jesus and Antiono Estrada –Haus of Estrada– and Nicolas Aurizio –Nicolena– who have been featured on Lifetime hit reality show Project Runway.
The evening also gives way to special celebrity musical performances. Fame Rocks Fashion Week 2012 attendees which includes celebrities, press, media, fashion influentials and industry leaders are sure to be blown away by the night and each piece that comes down the runway. Red carpet arrivals starts at 4:00pm followed by a VIP Gala Cocktail Reception with showtime is at 7:00pm.
After pursuing classical studies, Veronica Spadaro, was fascinated with 1930s atmosphere and inspired by the refinement of Parisian haute couture; she devoted herself entirely to fashion and began her training as a designer. Studying fashion design, dressmaking and pattern making for four years, Veronica graduated in sartorial model-making from the fashion design school Istituto di Moda Burgo in Milan.
Once she concluded her training, she moved to Florence and Paris in 2007 with the ambition to create her own fashion brand. She developed a predilection for the handcrafted tradition of the highest level.
She specialized as costume designer for the theatre at the prestigious ‘Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino’ of Florence, specifically in design costumes for the opera. Fascinated by the liaison between fashion and cinema, she creates custom design for film productions.
Besides creating her sartorial label, she works as luxury dressmaker for the Gucci Fashion House, on the set of photo shoots and advertising campaigns.
