Where She’s From: ArshaTahir was born in Fiji Islands and raised in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
“A few of the most valuable things I have learned in life is fear no one but God. Also to strive for what to believe in and that it is okay to hit rock bottom because it's only going up from there,” Arsha tells The Black Star News. “And last to have very motivating and positive people in your life.”
Tahir is completing her studies in Business Administration and Human Resources. “Besides modeling I would love to work in front of the camera and with enough experience would even take the step to collaborate behind the camera,” she adds. “I do hope to be a positive role model and leave my footprints in the print, acting, movies.”
Where She’s At:
Arsha has been involved in several major projects, including being spokes model for H20 Records and print campaigns with well-respected photographers. “I have also done music videos and commercials,” she says. “I am most excited at the moment about a short film that I will be writing and acting in.”
“I don't believe in just being a pretty face,” Arsha says. “You got to have the charisma, attitude, and brains to support what you got.”
So how does this lovely model and actress prepare to step out?
“When it comes to makeup I like a lot of natural products such as minerals,” she says.
“If I was looking for burst of color I like Mac and Smashbox and for more neutral tones I like I.D Minerals. For lotions I like Victoria Secret the scents are great and almost any that is vanilla. I am really picky about the perfume I wear. Meaning it cant be too strong and over powering so I like subtle and soft smells that make you take a second look at the direction the person walks in. When it comes to clothes I like unique apparel very much! But that's only when I feel like shopping!! I am not much of a shopper I rather do almost anything else like wash dishes then shop at times. But when I am in the mood it has to be trendy and unique.”
Tahir’s favorite car is an old Honda because they are dependable and she also loves the 2008 Lexus LF-A roadster
