Clothing The Soul

From this near tragedy – with all of its bleak trappings – was launched a refreshing concept in clothing and the human spirit. “We’re the first clothing company that makes comfort, color and the human spirit the essence of the brandâ€?, says Bruu.

When life unexpectedly takes a swing at you, and you hit rock bottom fast, you can either dig down deep and scrape your way back into the land of the living, or you can wallow in misery, self-pity and mental paralysis.

Alyson Bruu and Kristine Fichera not only chose to dig deep in late 2004, they decided to take a profound personal disaster and make lemonade from a boatload of lemons. Liv’n Out Loud! Clothing Company was conceived
after Alyson almost died following routine surgery.

From this near tragedy – with all of its bleak trappings – was launched a refreshing concept in clothing and the human spirit. “We’re the first clothing company that makes comfort, color and the human spirit the essence of the brandâ€?, says Bruu. “It is a simple, but meaningful concept that people all around the world are subscribing to. Our comfortable, inspirational clothing, along with our life-affirming message, is actually encouraging others to make a personal leap of faith in their own lives! It is unreal to witness!â€?

Says Fichera, “Yes, we’re selling great clothing. But it’s against the backdrop of a vitally important personal movement of self-empowerment. If you take a look at our Lifestyle page, you will feel the global heartbeat in the stories that are shared there. It is so inspirational! We want to be the place people go to share their Liv’n Out Loud! stories, in a sincere effort to jump-start other people into making profound personal changes in their lives.

Both Alyson and Kristine left positions in corporate America to realize their dreams of running a small, important business where lives all around the world would be positively affected by their efforts.
