Carol Commissiong says her clients like her because she always goes “above and beyond the call of duty,â€? when helping them find the right home. “My specialty is getting them exactly what they are looking for and finding the best in that area so they can get the best for their money,â€? she says. “For first time home buyers, I hook them up to great brokers.  I can even help them find 100% financing,â€? she says. Carol was born in Jamaica. She came to United States at age 11 with her family and was raised in New York City. She attended junior high, high school and New York University’s Tish School of Arts, where she majored in Dramatic Arts. After modeling for a short period in Paris, Carol returned to New York to continue her education at Marymount Manhattan College and Saint John’s University.

Majoring in advertising and communication led her to a career in real estate. Carol specializes in selling residential real estate in New York City, ranging from luxury hi-rise white glove buildings, Lofts, Brownstones and Town Houses. “I enjoy finding the right home for all my clients and to just look on their face when they close on the deal and how happy and excited they are and what a great service I gave them,� she says. If I find them a property that they really want, I can get that them that home at the price that is good for the market, meaning not under the market value but not over the market value as well,� she says. “I would never let them overpay for a property at all. While it is going to contract, I have an appraiser come to make sure that it is priced right.�

Carol is a member of Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY), the Manhattan Association of Realtors (MANAR), and National Association of Realtors (NAR).  “The strength of a successful residential broker is in the careful in-depth planning, marketing, and strategizing of a property, to ensure that the right product is offered at the right price and to the most qualified buyers, providing a resourceful comprehensive service,â€? she notes.
