One man was killed Sunday and another left in critical condition during a violent shooting in Brooklyn.
Police responded to 962 East 84 Street after 5p.m. in the Canarsie section of Brooklyn where they found 22 year-old, Darren Harrison, with a gunshot wound to the head. He was pronounced dead at the scene by EMS. Another victim, a 19 year-old male with a gunshot wound to the stomach, was taken to Kings County Hospital in critical but stable condition.
Police were not clear on what sparked the shooting, but an onlooker at the scene told reporters, "There's been some gang activity in these neighborhoods lately. These kids have no value for human life out here today."
Police are still working on a motive and the investigation remains ongoing.
