Ariel Sharon.

Our thoughts and prayers today are with those around the world, including here in New York City, who mourn the passing of Ariel Sharon.

Sharon committed his life to the State of Israel, and also dedicated so much of his energy toward a real and lasting peace in the region.

New York City has always shared a special bond with the people of Israel, and today we share in their profound loss.
