DC37 Slams HHC Plans, Including Clinic Closings

HHC plans to close five child health clinics and one dental clinic, privatize the Brooklyn Central Laundry, contract out dialysis services and laboratories, consolidate orthopedic services and eliminate 3,799 public health care workers in the next four years.

They will unmask NYC Health and Hospital Corporation's restructuring plan and discuss DC 37's new report "Health Care Under the Knife," the union's response to HHC's plans to close five child health clinics and one dental clinic, privatize the Brooklyn Central Laundry, contract out dialysis services and laboratories, consolidate orthopedic services and eliminate 3,799 public health care workers in the next four years.
