The Urban Community Council reached out to corporate and small business owners to give back to the community in which they do business
The Urban Community Council reached out to corporate and small business owners, asking them to give back to the community in which they do business, by helping to put smiles on the faces of young people through the joy of Christmas.
Printinzone.Us, a successful minority-owned graphics and printing company in Brooklyn recognizes their responsibility and have stepped up to help those that are less fortunate and to contribute to the common good.
CEO Jevante Qirashawn of Printinzone.US held good to his commitment to take a percentage of all his company's sales from November 1st, 2008 thrrough December 12th, 2008 and purchase Christmas gifts to be donated to children in need during this holiday season. Printinzone.US is a subsidiary of Elique Group Inc. and has earned the trust of such high profile clients as Def Jam Recording, Ecko Clothing Line, Brooklyn College, Impact Magazine, Golden Crust, IHOP, Kock Records, 21st Century Travel, and over 1000 other businesses.

ABOUT THE URBAN COMMUNITY COUNCIL
The UCC was founded by Community Advocate, Tony Herbert and Royston
"Uncle Roy" Antoine to assist families and communities throughout the
New York City metropolitan area, and Nassau and Suffolk counties, who
have become victims of tragedy by helping them obtain access to
information and resources that will bring them nearer to some level of
closure. The UCC, in some instances, will act as a spokesperson for
families when interacting with the media, law enforcement inquiries as
well as with various government and community agencies. In addition,
the UCC will play host to a number of crime prevention, youth mentoring
and community empowerment programs. To date, the UCC has formed several
support and crime prevention groups such as Mothers United Through
Tragedy, The Central Brooklyn Youth Initiative and the Downtown
Brooklyn Safety Task Force.
Anthony “Tony” Herbert is a 20-year government and community relations
specialist who has worked as an aide to a host of influential senior
elected officials in the New York City Council, The New York State
Senate and United States House of Representatives and has personally
processed well over 1500 constituent related issues stemming from
immigration to housing and financial matters.
Currently, the UCC consists of Anthony Herbert, Chairman and
Co-Founder, Jude Michel, President, Umar A. Jordan, Vice President,
Royston Antoine, Community Activist, Brenda Jeanne Wyche,
Communications and Outreach, Mark Pollard, Esq., Robert Freeman, MW
Enoch Grand Lodge Community Outreach Committee, Sgt. Glenn Horton (NYPD
- Office of The Chief of Community Affairs), Hakiym Eloh, Member, and
the Council continues to grow.
Established in 1996 and within twelve years, The Professionals Network
Organization (TPNO) a coalition of over 10,000 plus, non-partisan young
ethnically diverse business professionals, entrepreneurs, community and
business leaders have established themselves as the premier network for
those who look to be empowered economically, politically and socially.
Although not structured as a company and or not for profit, TPNO has
social networking Chapters throughout the East Coast. The goal of
(TPNO) is to meet the diverse business needs of it's growing membership
through a series of programs and events that provide effective
networking value, and to assist our network members in becoming
residents of an..."Ownership Society".
Our key objective is to establish links between the organization to the
community as well as the corporate and political sectors. It is through
these relationships it becomes possible for all parties to nurture
ongoing opportunities for access and success. In addition, we play host
