Black Women’s Conference at Medgar Evers

The event will be held at the Academic Building I, Dining Hall – 1638 Bedford Ave., Brooklyn, NY 11225; from 8AM to 4PM.

Medgar Evers College, in collaboration with the Black Women for Fairness, Equity & Justice, is hosting “Black Women’s Conference & Career Information: Honoring the Legacy of Congresswoman Shirley Chisholm” on November 12.

Congresswoman Yvette D. Clarke will deliver the keynote address at the event.

The conference
offers an opportunity to deal with topics important to the personal and
professional development of women of color including “Education, Higher
Education & Career Management: Pathways to Success”, “Critical
Health Care Issues For Brooklyn”, and “The Status of Black Women in the
Diaspora: Global & Local Perspectives.”

The event will be held at the Academic Building I, Dining Hall – 1638 Bedford Ave., Brooklyn, NY 11225; from 8AM to 4PM.

Registration takes place from 8 am to 9 am. There is a $10.00
registration fee which includes breakfast, luncheon, reception and
