Don Imus: Chicken Or Egg?

In the meantime, these same leading Blacks, as with the Michael Richards episode (the “Kramer character in Seinfeld who advocated the lynching and burning of African Americans), will escort Imus out of the political firestorm. They will secure the assistance of public relation firms and receive commissions from lawyers. Even though Richards use of “nigger was recent, no one remembers it.

COLUMN: I WRITE WHAT I LIKE

I wonder why any Black person would appear on Imus in the Morning.

Yet, leading Blacks would often trek to his studios and elevate self over race.  After Don Imus verbally perpetrated a crime against humanity by referring to the women Rutgers basketball team as “nappy-headed hos, these same Blacks have proven to be political chameleons.

Federal Communications Commission has been a problem for Blacks for decades including accommodating white supremacy.  Now, leading Blacks are suggesting that we go to the FCC for justice and the Black masses are giving them an AMEN.  This represents a lack of critical thinking.

Pacification of Blacks works.

Six months ago, I publicly noted that Blacks should go to Capitol Hill en masse and lobby Congress about the FCC.  I find it interesting that two million Blacks will rally on the National Mall, a former cow pasture, about redressing Black grievances, in general, but will stay away from Capitol Hill.  No one heard our chants and pleas in the cow pasture.  We do know our place.

We need to send a message to Don Imus’s corporate sponsors that his suspension should be as permanent as mine was on May 21, 1990.  The only difference is that my accusation about Steven Pagones was truthful and made to prevent a judicial cover-up.

His speech was made, intentionally, to defame descendants of enslaved Africans.  It was also made to violate the Thirteenth Amendment.  We should send his corporate sponsors a message on Friday morning at the scene of the crime.  This should be Imus final bon voyage.

We will discuss the logistics on Wednesday, April 11 at 7:30 p.m. at the Elks Plaza, 1068 Fulton Street, near Classon Ave., in Brooklyn.  Take the C train to Franklin Ave.
