Publishing & Publicizing
A Workshop for New and Emerging Authors
Technology makes it easy for anyone to publish a book. But the steps a writer needs to take to get that book published and into readers’ hands haven't changed. In addition to writing a book, authors have to find an audience, create a marketing and publicity plan to reach that audience, and decide on the publishing option that suits their needs.
Join us in a presentation designed to introduce you to various types of publishing, from traditional to self-publishing. Get the inside story from authors and publishers who are publishing in today’s competitive market. Learn how to promote and publicize your work in using social media and other marketing tools.
Speakers: Dahlma Llanos Figueroa, Author of Daughters of the Stone; Ron Pramschufer, Selfpublishing.com; Valerie Russo, publicist and social media strategist; Johnny Temple, Akashic Books; Coordinated by Marcia Mayne Book Publicity.

The NEW System of making MONEY
This Saturday, we welcome back
John Harley, Serial Entrepreneur.
The topic of our discussion will be the NEW system of making money in this economy. This system has been endorsed by such notable leaders as Former President, Bill Clinton and Entrepreneur Donald Trump.
The Entrepreuneur of Color in most cases can't walk into the local Mega-Bank and ask for a loan of $10,000-$50k. to open a traditional business. Maybe your credit isn't great, or you don't have a business background.
HOW DO YOU THEN START YOUR OWN BUSINESS?
This Saturday, Kermit Eady and guest John Harley show you how you can start your own business for less money than your cable or cell phone bill.
Ask yourself this question?
Would you rather have a high priced cable/cell phone package that costs you $200 a month OR a home business that you can work part-time and get a check for $200+ every month?
Join us on Saturday, November 11th at 6pm EST, 5pm CST, 3pm PST and let's empower each other.
