John Sununu: The Bitter Bigot

John Sununu seems bitter because he could never become U.S. President

[Op-Ed]

John Sununu has been the most racially charged angry man against President Obama.

Then you look around and see why Sununu is so angry at the President.  The anger is purely based on the fact that John Sununu can never smell the presidency of the United States of America.

At 73, he is already too old, added to the fact that he was born in Havana, Cuba. That is his whole anger at President Obama. Obama is President and Commander in Chief of the United States of America; Sununu can never smell it, try as much as he can.

Yesterday, Sununu, Mitt Romney chief surrogate, labeled Gen. Colin Powell’s strong endorsement of the reelection of President Obama as based on race.

In his endorsement of Obama, Gen. Powell said on CBS’ “This Morning”, “You know, I voted for him in 2008 and I plan to stick with him in 2012, and I’ll be voting for he and Vice President Joe Biden next month.”  He continued, “I think we ought to keep on the track we are on.”

On the issue of foreign policy, and as we know, Gen. Powell who was a former Joint Chiefs of Staff as well as National Security Adviser, a four-star General, said, “One day he has a certain strong view about staying in Afghanistan, but then on Monday night he agrees with the withdrawal. Same thing in Iraq. On every issue that was discussed on Monday night, Governor Romney agreed with the president with some nuances. But this is quite a different set of foreign policy views than he had earlier in the campaign.”

On CNN’s Piers Morgan, Sununu was asked about Powell’s endorsement of Obama, and this is what he said: “Well, I’m not sure how important that is. I do like the fact that Colin Powell’s boss, George Herbert Walker Bush, has endorsed Mitt Romney all along. And frankly, when you take a look at Colin Powell, you have to wonder whether that’s an endorsement based on issues or whether he’s got a slightly different reason for preferring President Obama.”

Morgan asked What that other reason would be.

Sununu said: “Well, I think when you have somebody of your own race that you’re proud of being president of the United States, I applaud Colin for standing with him.”

As we noted before, Sununu has a history of insulting and making racial remarks about Obama.  According to the organization, “Think Progress,” these are some of the statements that Sununu has made since this election circle,

– Obama is foreign. Obama doesn’t understand the “American system” because “he spent his early years in Hawaii smoking something, spent the next set of years in Indonesia, another set of years in Indonesia, and, frankly, when he came to the U.S. he worked as a community organizer, which is a socialized structure.” [Fox News, 7/17/2012]

– Obama doesn’t know how to be an American. During a conference call, Sununu claimed, “The men and women all over America who have worked hard to build these businesses, their businesses, from the ground up is how our economy became the envy of the world. It is the American way. And I wish this president would learn how to be an American.” [Conference call, 7/17/2012]

– Obama is a lazy idiot. Sununu described Obama’s debate performance as “babbling,” “lazy,” and “disengaged,” and dismissed the possibility that he could do better in the future. “When you’re not that bright you can’t get better prepared.” [Fox News, 10/4/2012]

– Obama has no class, just wants to be cool. “That moment of using the B.S. word was kind of a self-defining moment for the president,” he told Sean Hannity. “No class, wants to be cool. Sacrifices the dignity of the presidency for appearing cool to a magazine that works for some of his base.” [Fox News, 10/25/2012]

John Sununu is trying to make this election a racially-charged election, trying to drive a wedge of white supporters against Obama.

But it is not going to work because people see through Romney’s empty promises, and that’s why a moral statesman like Gen. Powell will abandon his party’s nominee and endorse Obama for a second-term.

Sununu, you are the unAmerican.
