The alleged suspect in the stabbing Monday of a deliveryman in Queens who surrendered today to the Queens District Attorney’s office denies the allegations against him, The Black Star News has learned.
He is described as a young African American male in his 20s named David Moore. The Black Star News has learned that his most recent employment was as a building security guard in Harlem.
The Police say that a surveillance camera captured images of a young man who appeared to be holding a knife, as he headed downstairs in a Queens building. The Police believe he is the suspect in the stabbing inside a 21st Street apartment. The victim is said to have been stabbed three times in a building on Long Island City.

Mitchell said Moore surrendered to DA Richard A. Brown’s office because he didn’t want his client to be “roughed� up at the 114 precinct. “There are a bunch of thugs in the Police Department who shouldn’t be wearing uniform,� Mitchell said.
Moore is expected to be arraigned sometime tomorrow afternoon said Kevin Ryan, spokesperson for DA Brown. He said Moore surrendered at 5:30 PM and that detectives from the 114 took him into custody at 7 PM.
Moore is said to live with a girlfriend and the two are expecting a baby sometime in November. Charges could include robbery, assault, criminal possession of a weapon, or attempted murder.
The stabbing victim is reportedly 39 years old and is expected to recover from the injuries.
