Mrs. Strauss-Kahn Aids And Abets Serial Molester

Allegedly, Nafissatou has propensity to lie. Well, DSK has propensity to attack and force himself onto young beautiful women; it follows then that this case should have gone to trial, if it were only about propensity!

[London Bridge Is Falling Down]

“Sometimes it’s hard to be a woman, giving all your love to just one man.  You’ll have bad times and he’ll have good times, doing things you don’t understand. But if you love him, you’ll forgive him’’.

Never have these words sung by Tammy Wynette rang so true than when Anne Sinclair, wife of Dominique Strauss-Kahn stood by her man, the serial woman molester.

I am all for loyalty and a woman standing by her man but we also need to draw the line somewhere.  Madame DSK may have believed, as many people initially did, that her husband was the victim of a plot to discredit him from running for President of France and that Nafissatou Diallo was planted in his room for just that purpose.

After all, opinion polls in France were clearly showing that the French would prefer DSK and Ms. Sinclair to President Nicolas Sarkozy and his former super model wife Carla Bruni-Sarkozy. For arguments sake, if this were true, then what about Tristane Banon, the French journalist who charges that Strauss-Kahn tried to rape her too? What was her motive?

Anne Sinclair, described as a formidable woman of enormous wealth, supported, financially and emotionally, DSK throughout his indictment, incarceration and eventual release.  She professed his “innocence” from the outset and indeed declared that DSK would be cleared of any wrong doing.  She described her husband as a “good,” “honest,” and “upright” man!

This is the same man whom two young women filed sexual assault charges against. This is the same man who had forced himself on an employere at IMF, the glamorous Hungarian economist Piroska Nagy, the same man who had a consensual but brutal sex with Anne Mansouret, the mother of his latest accuser Tristane Banon.

There is no smoke without fire. I am baffled at Madame Sinclair’s decision to hold her head up high next to an individual I can only describe as a misogynist.

Madame DSK is beautiful and successful in her own right and does not appear to be a woman who lacks confidence or burdened with low self-esteem. So, could this be true love that conquers all or perhaps co-dependency, familiarity, fear of change? Or is the driving force behind the slow but permanent rise of DSK an egotistic woman who will pursue her dreams of occupying the Palais de Elysee at all costs?

Has she ever for one moment imagined herself in the position of a woman under a sexual assault? Imagined the fear, the shock, the confusion, the aftermath feeling of worthlessness? If only she could just close her eyes for a moment and picture her husband wrestling to the floor a defenseless woman.

Does Madame DSK believe as does Jean-Francois Kahn, the former editor and founder of Magazine Marianne, that it is no more than “tumbling” a servant! Or perhaps, as declared by Jack Lana, a minister of culture under Francois Mitterrand, that “no one got killed”!?

Something inside of Nafissatou Diallo died on that floor wrestling with DSK.  She lost the sparkle from her eyes and the smile that may have once been her crown.  She lost her dignity.  Whatever the reason, Madame DSK’s total and blind devotion is baffling.

Although another DSK conquest, Marie – Victorine offers that she had an intense and physical affair with DSK and that there was an element of magic in his technique, when I look at DSK, even wrapped up in all his wife’s obscene wealth, I do not find myself going weak at the knees.  Nothing could make me willingly lay down with him.

Equally baffling is the decision of the prosecution to apply for a motion to dismiss the case because they cannot rely on the credibility of the victim because she has the propensity to lie.  DSK has the propensity to attack and force himself onto young beautiful women; it follows then that this case should have gone to trial, if it were only about propensity! There was DNA evidence, the Prosecution’s admittance that something other than consensual sex had occurred, coupled with the fact that DSK left the hotel in a hurry.  Money talks.

It has been expressed in the media that Madame DSK has joined a sisterhood of women who have stood by their cheating high profile men.  I beg to differ.  There is a world of difference between a seducer like Bill Clinton to one accused of a sexual assault. Whereas we are not shocked by the idea of philandering men of power, all decent human beings are infuriated and sickened by a sexual attack.

This is more than loyalty, this is more than living in denial; nor is it about the French living in a sexualized society.  This is about power and about proving a point.  I find Madame DSK to be a dangerous woman who has covered up and will continue to cover up the evils of her husband and she will remove –or at least her wealth will remove– whatever obstacles are in her way to the Palais de Elysee.
