On Thursday, August 29, 2019, Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr., AT&T and the New York Yankees will co-host the ninth annual “Borough President’s Cup” Youth Baseball Championship game.

The Borough President’s Cup Youth Baseball Championship Game will be held at Yankee Stadium, at One East 161st Street & River Avenue, in the Bronx. Game time is 10:00 a.m.

The championship contest will pit two former champions against one another, Grand Slam Little League and Bronxchester Realtors Little League.

To compete in the “Borough President’s Cup” Little League tournament, players for each youth baseball organization have to meet a set of requirements unrelated to their performance on the field: maintain a B-average in school, 90 percent or greater school attendance and a demonstrated commitment to community service.
