Buffis says Trump is the man

[The Toby Rogers Report]

De facto GOP Nominee Donald Trump received yet another controversial endorsement this week.

In March of 2016 Trump got Arizona Sheriff “Joe” Arpaio’s endorsement and campaigned with him around the sate.
Arpaio, a once leading anti-Obama birther has been accused of “abuse of power,” misuse of funds, failure to investigate sex crimes, improper clearance of cases, unlawful enforcement of immigration laws, and election law violations.”
The U.S. Department of Justice concluded that “Arpaio oversaw the worst pattern of racial profiling in U.S. history,” costing Maricopa County taxpayers $142 million in legal expenses and settlements.
Trump’s Arpaio endorsement came on the heels of support from several other GOP hate-mongers like avid White supremacist, former 1990 GOP Louisiana gubernatorial candidate David Duke and and former GOP’s 2008 vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin.
But this law enforcement official, former Lee, Massachusetts police chief, Joe Buffis was convicted and sentenced to 27 months in prison on federal extortion charges.
Buffis broke down as he spoke in Springfield Fedral Court yesterday before his sentencing. He apologized to the citizens of Lee and his family and claimed he took responsibility for his actions. Federal Judge Mark Mastroianni disagreed and said in court that Buffis did not “fully” recognized “the impact of his crime.”
Massachusetts prosecutor Steven Breslow said it was the first time in the state’s history that a police chief was convicted for abusing their office.
Outside the courthouse, Buffis hurled one final insult to reporters.
“God Bless America, vote for Donald Trump,” Buffis bellowed.
Black Star News e-mailed Trump head press-flack Hope Hicks and she did not respond or repudiate Buffis’ endorsement of Trump.
Buffis will not be able to vote this November after he turns himself in this June.
