The Administration of Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms today announced the launch of the Atlanta Housing Affordability Tracker.

The dashboard provides a snapshot of progress made in reaching the goals of creating or preserving 20,000 affordable homes by 2026 and the investment of City-controlled public sources in the production and preservation of affordable housing as part of Mayor Bottoms’ larger goal of investing $1 billion in affordable housing in Atlanta.

“With this tool, residents, partners and stakeholders alike can track the City’s investment and production in achieving the Administration’s affordable housing goals,” said Chief Housing Officer Terri Lee.

The data represented in the dashboard reflects City agency commitments made between January 2018-December 2019 and will be updated on a quarterly basis. While currently a beta version, future versions of the dashboard will include private and philanthropic funds committed to the development of affordable housing.

Last Summer, Mayor Bottoms released the Administration’s Housing Affordability Action Plan—a roadmap to increase the supply of housing in the City of Atlanta for a full spectrum of residents. Visit the City of Atlanta Affordable Housing Website to read the full plan and learn more about programming, policies, and initiatives.
