NAACP President and CEO, Derrick Johnson, released the following statement on the House's Passage of President Biden's Build Back Better Act.

“Today represents a significant step in the fight for racial equity. President Biden’s Build Back Better Act will make key investments in Black families and communities. As we celebrate the House’s passage of this critical framework, let’s double down on meaningful legislation that will improve the lives of all Americans. The Senate must pass this bill with urgency."
