NEW YORK, NY – With funding received from the City Council of New York, Entertainers 4 Education Alliance-I WILL GRADUATE Program has launched the Five Borough College & Career Readiness Tour to boost college and career awareness for high school students.

Guest speakers on the tour to include City Council members: Darma Diaz (District 37), Laurie Combo (District 35), Bill Perkins (District 9), Alicka Ampry-Samuel (District 41), Inez Barron (District 42), Adrienne Adams (District 28), I. Daneek Miller (District 27) and others to be announced.

The Five Borough College & Career Tour is a combination of a high-energy pep rally assembly with college resource tools and workshops designed to motivate NYC students to follow their dreams and stay focused towards their college and career goals. NYC students can take advantage of the college and career readiness online workshops, handbooks, and resources to help students make an informed decision on their future educational institution with a focus on City University of New York (CUNY) and State University of New York (SUNY) colleges.

The tour will service a total of fifteen (15) high school campuses in underserved communities, but all NYC students will have access to the virtual workshops and resources.

Tonya Lewis Taylor, Executive Director of Entertainers 4 Education Alliance, Inc. says “We are thrilled to have this amazing opportunity to provide students with much needed resources to prepare them for their college and career journeys. We are grateful to The City Council of New York for providing the funding to make the 5 Borough College & Career Readiness tour a reality.”
