Tune in to the “Black Star News Show” on WBAI 99.5 FM Radio also streaming on www.wbai.org Tuesday, February 4 at 3 PM Eastern Standard Time.

Tuesday’s topic focus is “Corruption — The Western and African Elite vs The Masses.”

We will discuss the dynamics behind corruption in Africa following the recent expose of the “Luanda Leaks” dealing with how major Western consultants and accounting firms like Pwc helped Isabela Dos Santos siphon off hundreds of millions of dollars from Angola. We will talk about that expose but broaden the discussion to cover the corrupt elite in other African countries and how they too work with their Western enablers and partners in crime to exploit Africans. We will also discuss the United Nations.

My guest in the studio is Matthew R. Lee the producer and publisher of Inner City Press, an independent media outlet that’s broken many exclusive news stories involving corruption at the United Nations. Matthew has been so effective in covering scandals at the U.N. that his press credentials have been revoked—he will speak about that too.
