Abdias Do Nascimento  is a revealing documentary about Afro-Brazilian scholar/writer/activist /politician Abdias do Nascimento (1914-2011). A significant figure and leader of Brazil’s Black movement, Nascimento founded the Black Experimental Theater in 1944 and was very active in the international Pan-African Movement. (Brazil, 2011, 95 min, Aida Marques, dir., Documentary) Portuguese with English subtitles
