He is the author of the acclaimed book Buck, a powerful memoir about finding your purpose in life; it is also an inspiring testament to the power of art. Asante will be in conversation with Dr. David Kirkland, Executive Director of the NYU Metropolitan Center for Research on Equity and the Transformation of Schools and Associate Professor in the NYU Steinhardt School of Culture.
