“An arresting vision of Waiting for Godot that resonates even after the curtain call … J. Kyle Manzay and Wendell Pierce are a well-oiled vaudeville machineâ€? (Variety).

"Few productions (of GODOT) have been as bracing and immediate as that of the Classical Theatre of Harlem, which produces a thrilling new Godot for our times." (Time Out NY).

“Classical Theatre of Harlem mounts a deft restaging of Beckett’s masterpiece … Wendell Pierce, as Vladimir, and J. Kyle Manzay, as his saucer-eyed sidekick, Estragon, achieve a glorious comic chemistry.â€? (The New Yorker).

“An illuminating revival by the reliably ambitious Classical Theatre of Harlem (New York Sun).

“A thrilling production at The Classical Theatre of Harlem. I would imagine that Beckett would be thrilled with director Christopher McElroen’s audacious interpretation of his play … This “Godotâ€? is deliriously entertaining and profoundly moving, all at once.â€? (WBAI Radio).

“4 out of 5 stars (Financial Times).

Directed by CTH Co-Founder Christopher McElroen, WAITING FOR GODOT features a stellar cast that includes OBIE Winner J. Kyle Manzay and Wendell Pierce, star of HBO's hit show The Wire, Chris McKinney (Light Raise the Roof at New York Theatre Workshop) and Billy Eugene Jones (Broadway: Gem of the Ocean and A Raisin in the Sun).
