She’s been modeling off and on for the last six years, mostly fashion shows for local designers and salons. “I knew shortly after my first fashion show that this was something I was meant to do,� she tells The Black Star News. “The adrenaline rush of being onstage and knowing that all eyes were on me was an unexplainable feeling.�
Where She’s At: Ebonii notes that her “journey� has allowed her to cross paths with great photographers. “I would love to recognize a few,� she says. “Lee Mc Dowell in Hampton, VA, was my first photographer, and basically paved the way for me. Jean-Claude Rainey in Maryland, for being very down to earth and easy to work with, and last, but definitely not least, Ron Smith from Philadelphia, PA, for his eclectic and artistic style of photography.�
Where She’s Heading: “Though I have never done any acting before, I would to try my hand in acting as well,� Ebonii says. “I have recently linked with SED models, a model management company in Hampton, VA. Hopefully this will bring several more opportunities my way.� She adds, “Big things have happened in 2006, and I am anxious to make 2007 even better.
