Brian McKnight Celebrates Music At J&R

Best-selling soul artist, composer and producer Brian McKnight will celebrate the release of his eleventh studio album, titled "Evolution of a Man" with a performance and autograph signing at J&R Music and Computer World on Tuesday, October 27, 2009, at 12:30PM. "Evolution of a Man" features duets with Stevie Wonder and Jill Scott,
and the first single "What I've Been Waiting For" features a reggae sound that McKnight has never done before. The album also features the ballads that he is best known for.

The Grammy-nominated Brian McKnight is a versatile singer, composer and producer who has earned worldwide recognition for his skills on both the piano and guitar, as well as for his unmistakable voice.He has released 11 albums to date, 7 of them have gone platinum, with several going 2 and 3x platinum, and has sold over 20 million
albums worldwide. Brian is currently hosting "Soul Session Countdown with Brian McKnight" on BETJ, and has co-hosted "The Brian McKnight Morning Show" on KTWV, the Wave Smooth Jazz radio station in LA for 2 years.

In 2008, a second radio show "The Brian McKnight Show" took over the airwaves and is currently syndicated on ABC radio coast to coast. Distributed nationally by The Litton Group, this show will be interactive and Brian will encourage fans to log in online and send questions to Brian and his guests.
