Brooklyn-based Reggae singer Elijah Rocq has just released a visual for his new love song “Tell Me What You Want.”
The video for “Tell Me What You Want” was shot at locations in Rocq’s Brooklyn neighborhood. In typical style, Mr. Rocq sings positively and passionately on this track about love and the right way for men to treat women.
Rocq is reigniting his solo career which was launched just before the emergence of the global COVID-19 pandemic.
A seasoned Reggae veteran, Rocq was the former front-man for the Live Wyya Band and toured the U.S., Europe and Japan with them. He has shared the stage with such Reggae luminaries as: Gregory Issacs, Dean Fraser, Marcia Griffiths, Sanchez, Buju Banton, Lee Scratch Perry, and Sly & Robbie.
Rocq is very versatile in singing several different styles of Reggae including lovers rock ballads, dance songs, and political songs—and is equally comfortable singing R&B. Rocq is currently working under his TriumphantRootz label.
