Entertainment Empress, Sheryle Jones is seeking talent for "In The Game", a new radio and TV show that hits the airwaves Wednesday, September 27th.

Jones Entertainment Group, Inc. is accepting submissions from artists for consideration to showcase their talent on “In The Game� Radio and TV.

Jones Entertainment Group, Inc. will launch “In The Game� on WGBB Radio, New York on Wednesday, September 27th.  Each Wednesday from 9:00 to 10:00 pm EST, Host, Sheryle Jones, CEO of Jones Entertainment Group, Inc.,  will spotlight the best of indie hip-hop record labels coast-to-coast, production companies coast-to-coast, unsigned artists coast-to-coast, and more.  In The Game will also be simulcast on the internet.

Jones Entertainment Group, Inc. is a New York-based music promotion and marketing company specializing in creating and implementing campaigns for Independent record labels. The company primarily handles promotion for hip- hop labels, but also handles musical genres of gospel, jazz, pop and rock. Campaigns are tailor-made for each client irrespective of geographic location or whether it is an upstart or well-established label. Campaigns are structured for local, regional or national territories.  Sheryle Jones heads the company with Don “Teflon Don” Jackson, Senior Vice President of Jones Entertainment Group.

Sheryle Jones is a Howard University graduate with a well-rounded music industry background. It is her extensive background that has allowed her to easily juggle between business and creative areas. She earned her Master’s Degree in Information Science from Clark-Atlanta University and completed post-graduate Studies in Entertainment and Sports Marketing at New York University.

With industry stints at Sony Music Entertainment (working in international, domestic, and specialty marketing), Universal Attractions Booking Agency and MPL Communications, handling music publishing royalties and licensing, Sheryl Jones brings a wealth of knowledge to the entertainment industry.

Ms. Jones earned a broadcast certification from The Connecticut School of Broadcasting and formerly freelanced as a radio air personality at WPNT–AM in New York.  Ms. Jones is also a consultant with MTV Networks in their business and legal affairs division.

On the creative side, she has received the Outstanding Young Women of America Award and New York City’s Black Theatre AUDELCO Award for “Best Choreography.� She studied at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts and has previously performed as a singer, dancer and actress.

Professional memberships include the National Association of Black Female Executives in Music & Entertainment and the Black Sports Agents Association.

Because of Ms. Jones’ extensive music industry background, she can provide endorsement services. Also, she can secure TV/film roles for athletes. If athletes own record labels, she can develop promotional campaigns for them.  Other services include Contract Negotiations, Legal Services, Live Showcases, “In The Game� TV Show, Record Label New Release Parties, Live Concert After Parties and more.

Don “Teflon Don” Jackson is Senior Vice President of Jones Entertainment Group, Inc.  He handles new client business development for indie hip-hop record labels and promotional campaigns for pop, jazz and gospels genres. Formerly with EMI A&R, he oversees hip-hop record label promotional campaigns.  Mr. Jackson was the point-person for the company in working closely with Black Radio Exclusive Magazine (BRE). He negotiates deals, handles budgets and is responsible for the execution of all elements of the campaigns. He secured the deal with BodyHead Entertainment (pro boxer Roy Jones, Jr.’s record label) for Jones’ debut single “Ya’ll Must’ve Forgot.” He is the face of the company when he attends music conferences and is known for bringing the west coast and dirty south flava to NY.
