NOVEMBER 25, 2014 DATE ADDED, TICKETS ON SALE TO GENERAL PUBLIC FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 14 AT 10AM

Madison Square Garden Entertainment announced today that music icon Billy Joel has added an eleventh show at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday, November 25, 2014, as part of the Time Warner Cable Concert Series. The performance is part of Joel’s franchise run at The World’s Most Famous Arena.

Joel is Madison Square Garden’s first-ever music franchise. He kicked off his franchise run at MSG on January 27, 2014 and will perform a show a month for as long as there is demand. The just announced November 25th show, along with the previously announced October 2nd show, will be available for purchase by the general public beginning at 10AM (EST) on Friday, February 14 via ticketmaster.com and by calling 866-858-0008. Citi cardmembers have access to preferred tickets via citiprivatepass.com. Tickets will also be available at the Madison Square Garden box office on Saturday, February 15. All nine previously announced shows -- January 27, February 3, March 21, April 18, May 9, June 21, July 2, August 7, September 17-- sold out. Prices range from $64.50 to $124.50. The concerts are being promoted by MSG Entertainment in association with AEG Live and Q104.3.

Billy Joel is one of the highest grossing touring artists in the world. Having sold more than 150 million records over the past quarter century, Joel ranks as one of most popular recording artists and respected entertainers in history. The singer, songwriter and composer is the sixth best-selling recording artist of all time and the third best-selling solo artist. Joel received The Kennedy Center Honors, one of the United States' top cultural awards, in December 2013. Joel performed at the historic 12-12-12, The Concert For Sandy Relief, joining other music greats to raise awareness and money to help those affected by Hurricane Sandy.

He has received six GRAMMY Awards, including the prestigious Grammy Legend Award. He has been inducted into the Songwriter’s Hall of Fame and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and has received numerous industry awards. His music has also served as the inspiration and score for the hit Tony Award-winning Broadway play “Movin’ Out.”
