Right Weather for Ice-T & Coco

Ice-T and Coco? That sounds like two beverages that don’t mix. But before you throw out the baby with the bath water, check this out.

The weather seemed just right for gangsta rap legend and  co-star of the tv hit series, Law and Order Special Victims Unit, Ice-T and his former Playmate wife, Coco, who landed in the Bronx, over the weekend. Well, landed might not be the correct term, with so many rappers landing in jail.

The 2002 NAACP Image Awards winner and his beautiful wife Coco, were at the Sofa Lounge to promote Coco’s new calendar. It was about 11:30 pm, when Ice-T and Coco sauntered into the sparsely populated hot night spot.  Ice-T & Coco sported no personal body guards and or entourage to speak of. The Sofa Lounge provided ample security to escort the famed couple to the VIP area. The VIP area was very orderly and was without incident. As the clock continued to speed pass midnight, I observed Ice-T sipping something exotic, in the way of a cool drink. On the other hand, Coco had something colorful, a drink with two straws.

At about 1:30 or so the trendy hot spot was just about filled to capacity. The information I received was that Coco was promoting her new calendar. I didn’t see any calendar, nor did I hear any chatter about a calendar. Never the less, Ice-T and Coco seemed very contained and polite to the many well wishers, autograph seekers and photographers.
