U.S. Virgin Islands songstress Kenya Eugene is a rising and much needed Queen bringing conscious music to our reality--and she has just released another gem to add to her growing catalogue with the new Rootsy single "Higher."
"Higher" was produced by Bobo Rems of Rebellion City, and is a great preview of the Kenya Eugene's new album which is produced by Bambu Station and slated for release in March 2023.
The sister of St. Croix Roots Reggae Empress Dezarie, Eugene stands out by having the ability to seamlessly compose and perform diverse genres of music including but not limited to R & B, Reggae, Jazz, Dance and Pop. And Eugene is following in her big sister’s footsteps by showcasing the best family traits, a dynamic and amazing voice with profound songwriting and heartical expressions.
Eugene has performed on the same stage as Morgan Heritage, Dezarie, and Rock City, just to name a few. She has been the handpicked opening act for artists such as Wyclef Jean, Big Mountain, and Bambu Station.
Please check out the new Rootsy single "Higher" on Spotify and if you love it, Like It, Share It and Buy It.
"Higher" is available on all major listening and purchasing platforms. We appreciate you and look forward to using music to expand on the positive.
